2. Definition of Cookies and Trackers

A cookie is a small file or identifier that is stored on or read from your device when you access an online service. The term “tracker” also covers, as applicable, local or session storage, tags, pixels, identifiers, scripts, and similar technologies that are used to store information or access information on your device.

Trackers may be set by DatAIze or by a third-party service provider. They may be temporary—deleted when the browser is closed—or persistent for the duration specified in the detailed inventory.

3. Principles Applied

The cookies that are strictly necessary are limited to those that are essential for providing the requested service, ensuring its security, enabling its technical operation, or saving your preferences.
Non-essential trackers are disabled by default and are only set or read after you have given your consent, unless there is a strictly applicable and documented legal exemption.
Opting out is just as simple as opting in. Closing the banner, continuing to browse, or remaining silent does not constitute consent.
Unclassified trackers are blocked until their provider, purpose, duration, and category have been verified.

9. Obtaining and Managing Consent
